WICU has chosen four finalists. The winning entries will appear on television and the winning schools will each host a special live broadcast of Erie News Now Sunrise at their school on one of the following dates 10/28, 11/4, 11/11, and 11/18.
After the four winning finalists are chosen by a pane of judges, PUBLIC VOTING begins on October 18 Public voting will end on November 20 at NOON - the four winning finalists will win one of four PUBLIC VOTING PRIZES based on the rank they receive.
YES! Voting and comments are open for anyone beginning October 18, 2016 at 12:01 PM and ending November 20 at NOON. The four finalists will win one of four PUBLIC VOTING PRIZES based on the rank they achieve at the end of the voting period (November 20 at noon).
Videos are accepted all the way through the submission deadline - then get everyone to vote!
- Each of the four finalists will win a total of $500 - $250 from Erie Community Credit Union and $250 from Fortis Institute
- Each of the four finalists' submission will air on TV and each will host a live TV broadcast of Erie News Now Sunrise
- Public voting will determine the next round of PUBLIC VOTING PRIZES awarded to each of the four chosen finalists:
- First Place - $5,000 Ad Package to the charity of their choice, GoPro
- Second Place - GoPro
- Third Place - Pizza Party
- Fourth Place - Pizza Party
